Since then I have been to sixth form college in Winchester and to University in both Swansea (BSc) and London (MSc). I started working life at the Transport Research Laboratory in Crowthorne (as a researcher) and then SDL International in Maidenhead (as a project manager). I didn't stay long at either job finally settling at Agilent Technologies in Wokingham. I stayed with Agilent for 6 years finally becoming a "Global IT Specialist" within their IT department. In March 2006 I was made redundant. The timing was perfect as I had finished my pilot training just 6 months earlier and had received sponsorship to train and fly the Airbus A320/1 with MyTravel Airways in February 2006. I finsihed my sponsorship with them at the end of October 2006 and then found permenant work as a First Officer for GB Airways based at London Heathrow. In March 2008, easyJet bought GB airways and I am now a Senior First Officer based at London Gatwick. Paul and I married in June 2008 at Halton House in Wendover. Paul and I live in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and have 2 dogs (both lurchers) and a baby due in November 2009. Married since 1988- two daughters, Jess, born 1989 and Alex born 1992. Work for BCHydro. Greg and I are planning a trip to the UK and France in September/October 2007- very excited Still in touch with afew Old Girls from the old website- love to hear from more. i have lost emailes for Alison Revitt and Alison Knott- if any one can help that would be great. It'd so long ago I can't quite remember when I left, think it was in 1989.. Anyway, great site, having a lot of fun reading through it. My sister (Natalie) found it a couple of weeks ago after one of those office conversations about school uniform..... Sounds like you have worked very hard to get where you are , so good for you! | ||
